GENTING!!

i had to wakeup at freaking 4am to bath and wadsoeva on the morning of my genting trip!

the coach was coming at 6am at bpp! so we took the lrt down to bpp and went to macs.

saw this clubber there. i deduced from her dress and makeup and lethargy that she had clubbed the night before and was blowing off time at macs till morning so as to return home. like srsly, she was just sitting there stoning, and eventually falling alsp.

so anyway i think at approx 630 we finally boarded the coach with my aunt, uncle and two cousins. i din really feel like im up for conversations so i decided to take a lone seat. which was really unlike me.

then we drove to the custom and YEAP we got into MSIA :)

we reached genting like super early! 12+ pm. normally we tend to reach there at like 1-2pm. the weather was awesome! like it wasnt really cold, but kinda like aircon temp which is good! however we had to wait ages for our room keys and the crowd was huge even though it wasnt sch hols. most of the people there were young adults and many old people. must be there for casino i bet. in the large holding room to wait for our room keys, the tv was playing MR BEAN. haha my fave! even though ive watched all the eps many many many times over and over again already.

think we finally got ur room keys at like 3-4pm? ikr we waited 4hrs for our room keys! decided to go grab some snacks cause we were all starving but dinner was just around the corner.

saw this GOGO CAFE!

(totally reminded me of the cartoon i watched at the childcare centre. it was about this magical dinosaur called GOGO. WHATS HIS NAME? GOGO? WHATS HER NAME? JENNY. zzz cant believe i sat through all of that. but the kids were so fascinated by the show tho)
ORDERED CHEESE BALLS. omgosh like i love cheese hotdogs to bits!

later we went for dinner at my favourite favourite restaurant! YUN HWA GONG

its like everytime we go genting, we cfm cfm plus chopchopchop will dine here. and normally we come during sch hols so its always full house and mind you, the restaurant is super huge okay. i think got 100tables. can you imagine it being fully packed? so we always have to go super early like 6pm if not you'll have to wait like 1hr+ to be seated. but since its apr and non sch hols, this time round the restaurant was only like 1/4 filled.

NAN BAI! this is like one of the few few few vegs i'll actually eat if my mood is good haha. and yesss i did eat it. 1 strand i think :)

the awesome SALAD PRAWNS its sooo good! the mayonnaise is made by themselves and its sooooo yums and not fattening
sweet and sour pork. passable
and the FABULOUS FISH. this is like the core reason why we always come back to this restaurant. and i love love love the fish!!! and if you know me, i dont like eating fish. so its saying ALOT that i love this fish!
the tofu is good tooo! even though the liao on top dont have like minced meat or anything. i still liked it even though i dont eat dried shrimps.

after dinner we went to watch RIO 3D! watching movies is super cheap @ genting! a normal weekday movie is like ROM10? and ours was 3D weekend RM18 cheap much!!! took a 3D specs peekture with my parents haha

must camwhore alone too! I dont really like 3D movies haha i dont like the specs! anyway RIO was so good:) the birds are amazingly cuteeeeeeeeeeee

after movie we went to KFC FOR SUPPER!!!! SUPER FATTENING OMG

DAY2

had morning dimsum at this dimsum restaurant! i dont really like dimsum haha very little meat i think.





i ordered this dish! theres some charsiew meat inside ;p

mini eggtart! its super small and cute. not bad. but KFC's beats it hands down though.
the steaming dimsum in the baskets steamed up my lens!!
my lou mai gai! Its nice :) super tasty but abit salty.

after dimsum we went to the theme park! super happy cause it was kinda empty since it was during sch hols. First stop was GO-KART!! time to put my car-driving skills to the test:) i managed to overtake other cars haha

dont have pics of me in my go-kart cause they are all in my cousin's cam. we played the go-kart 2by2 since they didnt allow us to bring our bags in. so i played with lifen first.

later on, they played while i helped look after their bags. it wasnt that fun. actually i think its quite boring since its just going around the tracks like 5-6times. and the road is super rough. not nice to drive on at all.

the rollercoaster in the far end was our next stop! CORKSCREW :) had 360deg turn


some random funfair stall thing beside me when i was waiting for them to finish gokart so that i can go sit cockscrew!
took cockscrew with liting. its quite scary! like the part where it goes down sooo steep. haha i had my eyes shut at the scary bits. the 360turn was okay actually. then we went to take the VIKING. i like!! but we cldnt sit like all the way at the extreme back or front cuz lifen was sscared and thats why she didnt take most of the roller coasters with us either.

time for some lame rides. like this elephant! it brings back lotsa memories cuz when we were younger like in primary sch, our parents wld sit with us on the elephants. theres this button there u can press so that the elephant can suddenly drop down or rise up :)
took a couple of other rides too, like the cyclone (msia's first roller coaster - u can only imagine how old it is), spinning chairs, bumber boat, teacup and what not. super pleased cause we took most of the rides there and the queues were super short too. the longest we had to queue for was guess what? THE BUMPER BOAT HAHAH

lunch time! went to kennyroger's for LUNCH SUPER YUMS

i ordered one of their 4 seasons drink. yup mine was SPRING
think liting ordered some tropical drink

muffins! unlike sg's, msia's had 3 flavours. choc, banana and vanilla
and we get to have 3 sides with our 1/4 chicken! and the thing is that its so much cheaper than sg's and so much more

after lunch, we went back to the themepark to play somemore!

and guess what they were selling at the themepark. MY KAKA BALLS OMFGGGGGGGG ;D

ofcuz i bought em. but they werent good :(
because we really ran out of rides to go on, we went to take the kiddy rides. like this car thing where the kids get to pretend to drive it (even though it actually follows a track and you just only need to step on this pad to make it move)


finally themepark adventures ended at around 6pm cause we had to go meet our parents for dinner.

this is the view outside the restaurant. yupp we were back at the same restaurant as the prev day but this time round, we ordered so much more food. cuz my uncle won money at the casino and he wanted to treat ;p

DONGPO ROU. i dont really love it, i actually prefer the bun haha. there werent much fats in the meat even though dongpo rou is supposed to be full of fats
their famous fish beehoon. we made the friendly waiter split it into 9 individual bowls for us.
tofu same as the prev night, but a smaller share. i ate alot of it i think i kinda fell in love with it that nightasparagus. ew
stewed sea cucumber. this was like RM100+ O.O i only ate the mushroom haha
think the waiter took like 20mins+ to divide the beehoon soup

NICE CRISPY DUCK! i ordered it haha. its not bad :)

apart from that we also ordered the fish from the prev night. i ate so much that night. i think i ate the most in the table! like i had to cleanup all the leftovers too. its like i ate and ate and ate but i didnt feel full at all even after everyone was done and full. must be becuase i screamed so much earlier that day and i ahd to replenish my energy ahaha :) i think we were their hugest customers for that night!

after dinner was NIGHT BOWLING. omg i so like their bowling alley!!! it was night bowling after 6pm and they had on the fluorescent lights. + luminous balls. and CLUBBING SONGS ON LOUD! freak right.
i sucked so bad for the first round. i kept getting gutterballs till i was so pekcek. then my cousin suggested i change my balls, thats when i realised ooooh! i was using 7pound (the lightest) but normally i use 8 or 9. but cuz there werent 8. so i went around looking for a 9. and yea i won the second round ;D

then it was TIME FOR SUPPER. ICECREAMMM
i bought my fave strawberry cheesecake but i felt so scammed, tell your why later!
the next morning was our last day there and we had casual breakfast at this hainanese cafe place. has the hongkong feel haha. famous for their toast and eggs?

i was extra and ordered a bowl of meatball noodles. it came like that with only 1 meatball and lotsa vegs in sight and i was like urghhh WHY NO MEAT ONE.
then when i started poking ard the noodles, some roasted meat floated up and 1 more meatball floated up too and i was happier :)
but as i ate, MORE roasted meat appeared from the bottom of the bowl. and i think in all there were 3meatballs and 10+ pieces of roasted meat. I WAS SO DARN FULL!
haha another lou mai gai. since we only had to check out at 12+ we went to walk around the place and finish some last min shopping
and ofcuz, eating BASKIN ROBBINS ONE MORE TIME! this time i ate GOLD METAL RIBBON:)

so anyway, the above pic explains why i felt so cheated! normally like the strawberry cheesecake icecream u eat has like strawberry bits inside right? but no, this one had cheesecake bits with strawberry icecream. WTF.

and the WORST THING WAS. aft i bought my icecream, i was just standing there waiting for my cousins when i heard this loud AHCHOOOOOOOOOOO and then felt water on my arm. WTFFFFFFFFFF. then is aw this red shirt uncle walked passed me. OMGGGG FML. luckily my cousin had detol wipes to disinfect.

hehe last peekture! dont you think that these bags are so cute? me and my cousins all had one. guess which is mine!!! last yr my mum went china with her sisters (my aunts) and they all brought back one HAHA. MINES THE BUNNY ONE! on the extreme left :)

anyway all in all the trip was SUPER FUN and its funny cuz at first i didnt want to go at all. then on the last day i was super dreading coming home. coming home to face WORK. when i was there, i received the cruise text and my tuition job text there. urgh. i was like sooo headacheee man. dont wana come back sg to work :(

but the thing is. THERE ARE SO MANY STUPID AND RUDE PEOPLE WITH NO COMMON SENSE AT GENTING. like srsly. the number of these kinda people i met there in 3 days are so much more than the number of these people ive ever met in my ENTIRE LIFE. i know im not the smartest but srsly they are really DUMBBBBBBBBB omg. and i really cant stand dumb people.

wow im finally done with this post. i had to upload the photos over like 2days cause i got lazy halfway through. now i still have like 2-3 blog posts pending. bloody shit.
